Great loving Victorious (Maitreya Buddha), Sublime Compassion Eye looking
one, Wrathful Victorious Hayagriva, Lord Pure Ethical Tara and so forth.
Merely by hearing the holy name eliminates all the dangers.
Object of refuge, nature of compassion, please pay attention!

The sentient beings of the quarrelling time, five degeneration sentient beings,
The great ocean of evil karma and jealousy exploded, suffering by intensive fighting.
Please make it dry by the strength of transcendental wisdom and compassion,
By letting fall a great nectar rain of loving-kindness.

To the transcendental migratory beings whose hatred fire is blazing,
By making fall the great nectar rain of loving kindness.
With the recognition of each other like parents.
Please bless to increase happiness and auspiciousness.

May the multitudes of the vicious evil sprits,
Who by entering the mental continuum,
Changes it instantly to the mind of asura.
From now on may they never run in these areas (country/world).

I am requesting even all the sentient beings who have died in the war,
Since from that time to abandoned the evil karma, cause and the result
Even after entered, born in the blissful field (Amitabha pure land)
And lead all others in that pure land.

Please bless all those who born and die (samsaric beings)
To have long life and to not have sicknesses, pacify all the quarrelling and fighting,
Enjoy the life in ten virtues, rainfall at right times and to always have good harvests.
All the habitat and inhabitants to be auspicious and increase.

By the ultimate reality that which is pure nature,
And having ultimate reality, the cause and result, unbetrayable,
And the compassionate Guru, mind seal Deity and rare sublime ones,
May the pure extensive prayers be completed.

When there was unceasing war in Tibet, in Kham (Me Nyak) and nobody was able to create harmony, the Great Lord Yogi came to Kham and generated bodhichitta and just merely by saying these true words and sprinkling flowers all the vicious minds (jealousy and anger) all were completely pacified and the war that had been continuous, stopped. There was prosperity in the harvests and so forth. The country became auspicious and peaceful. This is blessed vajra holy speech.

This is one of the prayers of the Great Tantric Tang Tong Gyalpo. The other prayers that he composed were to stop famine and epidemics.

His Holiness Chobgye Trinchen Rinpoche, who is a Guru of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and also one of the main teachers of His Holiness Sakya Trinzen, received the Sakya Lamdang teachings and initiations, including Dorje Phurba. His Holiness Chobgye Trinchen Rinpoche was invited to some part of Nepal by the Nepalese Government. Rinpoche checked what could be most beneficial for them and what prayer was most needed to benefit them. It came out the best practice for them to do was these three prayers composed by Tang Tong Gyalpo. So then Rinpoche decided to give the oral transmission of these three prayers. That's how I found out about these prayers and I received the oral transmission from His Holiness Chobgye Trinchen Rinpoche.

Whatever merits have come from making this translation available may wherever this text is (whichever country) and also by reading this prayer, may all the peoples' hearts be filled with loving kindness, bodhichitta and the thought to only benefit and not harm. May the sun of peace and happiness arise and may any wars that are happening stop immediately. May there be harmony, peace and may there never be war or violence again.
